How To Root Android 6.0 Marshmallow with PC

Notes:
(Read this carefully then follow the steps below)
Just so you know rooting is legal.

1.You need a PC/Laptop
2.All your phone data will be WIPED out so take backup.
3.Download FlashContent.zip
4.Unzip flashcontent.zip and put SuperSU.zip in your external memory card of your phone.
   (It may not work for older phones so download SuperSU.zip for your phone model)
5.Follow the below steps carefully or your phone may get bricked.

This FlashContent.zip contains twrp.img and SuperSu.zip for lenovo vibe note series.
For any other mobile ,just download both the files for your phone and place it in the same folder.

Steps :
1.Connect your phone to pc.

2. Go to settings -> Developer Options .
    Now enable OEM unlocking and USB debugging.
    A dialog Box will appear for computer authorization.
    Select "Always Allow" check box. Then press OK.

3.Now unzip the downloaded flashcontent.zip file.
   Open the unlock_recovery.bat file.

4.Now your phone will restart in bootloader menu.
   press volume up button of your phone.

5. Wait for 15 seconds.
     The TWRP recovery is installed on your phone.

6. Now restart your phone in twrp recovery mode by applying the following steps:
    I.  Switch off your phone.
    II. Press volume up,down and power button simultaneously till the logo appears.
    III. Now release power button keeping the volume buttons pressed for 3 seconds.
    IV. Now a black screen will appear. TWRP can take upto 3-4 minutes to show up.
    V.  As the twrp starts ,take backup of your system.

7. In twrp menu,select Install option and select superSU.zip file which you kept in external_sd card.


Congrats your phone is rooted.!!
